Luke C. Brandenberg is Granite Ridge’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Brandenberg has over 15 years of experience in the energy industry. Prior to joining Granite Ridge, he served as Managing Director of Vortus Investments, a private equity firm focused on the lower/middle market upstream energy industry in North America, from April 2021 through June 2022. From 2020 to April 2021, Mr. Brandenberg partnered with Grey Rock to launch a special situations initiative and to lead the deal origination, structuring, and relationship management efforts for the new platform. From 2010 to 2020, Mr. Brandenberg served in various roles with EnCap Investments, most recently as Director — Upstream Investment Staff, where he was a key board member and the primary relationship manager on multiple portfolio companies representing a significant portion of EnCap’s equity commitments. From 2007 to 2010, Mr. Brandenberg served as an investment banking analyst in the energy group of Raymond James & Associates where he focused on public market capital raises, restructuring of oil and gas investments, and mergers and acquisitions advisory work in the upstream, midstream, and oilfield services sectors of the energy. Mr. Brandenberg has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with honors in Business Honors and Finance from The University of Texas at Austin.

Tyler S. Farquharson is Granite Ridge’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Farquharson has over 16 years of experience in the energy industry. Prior to Granite Ridge, Mr. Farquharson served in various capacities at EXCO Resources, Inc., an independent oil and natural gas company (“EXCO”), from August 2005 to May 2022, most recently as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer from October 2017 to May 2022.

Mr. Farquharson received a B.S. in Finance from the University of Kansas in 2005.

Emily Fuquay is Granite Ridge’s Corporate Secretary. Ms. Fuquay provides legal services to Granite Ridge through Granite Ridge’s Management Services Agreement with Grey Rock. Ms. Fuquay joined Grey Rock in 2021.

Prior to joining Grey Rock, Ms. Fuquay was senior counsel at EnLink Midstream, a publicly traded midstream company, and General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Parallel Resource Partners, a private equity firm focused on investments in the upstream oil and gas sector. Prior to Parallel, Ms. Fuquay was an associate at the law firm of Thompson & Knight (now Holland & Knight), in the corporate and securities practice group.

Ms. Fuquay received her B.A. in English and Economics, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University, where she was elected a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Ms. Fuquay received her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, where she graduated with honors and served as a notes editor on the Texas Law Review.

Adam Griffin provides land and A&D transaction activity services to Granite Ridge through Granite Ridge’s Management Services Agreement with Grey Rock. Mr. Griffin joined Grey Rock in 2016.

Prior to joining Grey Rock, Mr. Griffin spent thirteen years with J-W Operating Company, most recently as Land Manager and Vice President of Land. Mr. Griffin is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Landmen (AAPL) and the Dallas Association of Petroleum Landmen.

Mr. Griffin is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Energy Management with a minor in Finance and he holds the Certified Professional Landman (CPL) designation through AAPL.

Eric Holley provides finance and accounting services to Granite Ridge through Granite Ridge’s Management Services Agreement with Grey Rock. Mr. Holley joined Grey Rock in 2016.

Prior to joining Grey Rock, Mr. Holley was the founding member of Silverthorn Accounting Services, which provides outsourced accounting, audit preparation, and operating consulting services to energy fund managers and small business owners. Prior to Silverthorn, Mr. Holley was a financial statement auditor at Rothstein Kass, with a focus on audits of energy related private equity funds and oil field service companies.

Mr. Holley holds a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin and a MS in Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Ryan Riggelson provides engineering services to Granite Ridge through Granite Ridge’s Management Services Agreement with Grey Rock. Mr. Riggelson joined Grey Rock in 2016.

Prior to joining Grey Rock, Mr. Riggelson was most recently a Senior Staff Reservoir Engineer with EP Energy, responsible for new ventures evaluations and leading the development of their operated Haynesville asset. Through the course of his twenty-year career, Mr. Riggelson has also held roles of increasing responsibility at Talisman Energy (now Repsol), Apache, and Encana (now Ovintiv).

Mr. Riggelson holds a BS in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Calgary.
